The Travelle Kitchen and Bar has a can’t-miss formula. They have a world class chef and menu, they have one of the best bars in the city, a wine list that makes others envious, and they have some of the best views anywhere!
Let’s start with the Travelle’s Chef Tim Graham. Chef Graham is a seasoned veteran of some of the best restaurants in Chicago and has been recognized by the Chicago Tribune and others. He does a great job of creating a menu that is influenced by the all four corners of the U.S.
Travelle has a glass-enclosed kitchen that is more of a cooking stage than a working kitchen. The work is performed in a clean and structured environment by dedicated culinary professionals.
Travelle’s wine list includes selections from California, Italy, France, and other wine regions of the world. Travelle offers their guest more than 1,500 wines to experience. They have wines from all over the world for every palette and budget.
The bar not only has the expert bartenders that make the perfect cocktail, but they also serve some of the best appetizers in the business. Their flaming chicken wings are large and were prepared to perfection. Their lamb spare ribs are unique and very flavorful. Even if you’re not a lamb lover, you will absolutely devour these ribs. The bartenders at Travelle are some of the most creative artists you’ll ever meet. Be sure to try their Reposado Tequila Cloud Gate and their Tanqueray Gimlet, you will certainly be impressed.
The view of the city is breathtaking with the intersection of State and Wacker and the Chicago River are just outside the window. The iconic Marina Towers and the Trump Tower are so close you can almost touch them (not really, but they’re really close).
Travelle’s is both a restaurant and bar destination in the heart of Chicago. Travelle is a fun place and needs to be on you must-try list.
